Georgies Fine Jewellery
Georgina has been involved in Georgies Fine Jewellery since the opening of the Eden store back in 1987. She also began her Jewellery Apprenticeship at this time. David became involved in the business in 2001 when Jan Staley (Georgie’s Mum) decided to leave the business. Georgina and David then took over the running of both the Narooma and Eden stores. Since that time they have expanded to include 5 jewellery stores on the far South Coast of NSW. There is now a Georgies Fine Jewellery store in Batemans Bay, Narooma, Bega, Merimbula and Eden, plus our separate dedicated workshop located in Narooma.
Georgies Fine Jewellery has always had a strong jewellery repair and custom made jewellery pedigree and we take great pride in the work we produce and carry out on a daily basis. We have now combined this with our Diamond and Gemstone buying from around the world to give every one of our customers the ability to obtain an item of jewellery specific to their needs.
Whilst we have brilliant Store Managers and staff in each town, Georgina and David still work in each of the stores on a regular basis. This gives our customers access to the owners who care for their business, where in many of the large chain stores you never meet the owner. They are accessible to all our customers and happy to meet with them.
They love life on the Far South Coast of NSW and live in Narooma with their two dogs, and fish. Georgina and David believe in giving back to the community by actively sponsoring local events such as Bega Show Girl, Eden show Jumping Cup and Bega Ladies Golf, as well as school events, charities and for their love of animals the Animal Welfare League.
