Latest News

Get ready for an exhilarating Sea Plane experience! The Chamber has successfully received funding to upgrade the town center's floating pontoon with a disability lift and modifications to welcome seaplanes. Special thanks go to our Chamber Treasurer Charles Stuart for all you hard work getting this through. Thanks to the Chamber's efforts and our collaboration with Sydney Seaplanes, trial services are soon launching, connecting Batemans Bay, Canberra, and Sydney. Stay tuned for more updates!

BATEMANS BAY TOWN CENTRE MASTERPLAN

After gauging member support and receiving a positive response from a presentation involving the Council's Planning Department and Chamber members - including builders, lawyers, architects, club CEOs, and property owners - the executive decided to support the Town Centre Masterplan. The Masterplan will be presented to the Council in December for exhibition approval, and members will be kept updated on the outcome.

Love the Bay

Love the Bay was relaunched in October with over 140 local businesses participating.

This Christmas, the Chamber has organised a $500 Gift Card competition which will be rolled out on social media very soon. Keep a look out and help spread the word to support our local businesses.

The Chamber will light up the Christmas Tree on the 3rd of December on the Corner of Clyde and Orient Street’s Batemans Bay. Be sure to check it out!

Sculpture for Cylde - 2025 Applications Open

Artists are invited to apply to exhibit in the event, which will transform the Batemans Bay foreshore into a stunning outdoor gallery for 9 days in May/June 2025.

New Member Spotlight

We are excited to welcome our new members, Rocky Trail Destination! Directors Juliane and Martin Wisata have been instrumental in bringing the Mogo Trails to life. The positive impact this business has had on our town is already evident, and we eagerly anticipate its full potential once all the tracks are completed. Rocky Trail Destination is currently developing the 130-kilometre Mogo Trails network, which will host the Sea Otter Australia event in October 2025.

We would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate them for winning the 2024 NBN Tourism Innovation Grant!
